10.11.12 KYOTO Day 2 part 2 {Fushimi Inari Shrine}

Day 2 in Kyoto // Fushimi Inari Shrine
Its famous for its countless of torii (Shrine gates) which leads to another world.

Took bus back to Kyoto station as we need to transfer another bus to Inari.
*Beware Image Heavy

Saw JINS that Sho kun endorsed in at Kyoto Station.

Sho Kun!!

Me with Sho kun!!~ ^^

Took bus down to Fushimi Inari Shrine. Followed the crowd and get down at Inari.

Inari Train Station

Passed by 2 train tracks among the streets up to the Inari Shrine.

Train is here, we will have to stop and let it passed.

Yes, Fushimi Inari Shrine is towards that direction.

Spotted AKB48 at the vending machine.

Mum bought this... YAM Ice cream

Beautiful & Colourful flowers can be seen at the flower shop.

Tangling electric wires all around the top of the buildings

Getting nearer to the first entrance of the Inari Shrine.

But before that, we bought Rice crackers to share.

Shoyu Rice Cracker

Seaweed Rice Cracker

Will be passing by the second entrance~

Autumn in Fushimi Inari Shrine~ Feel soo blessed to be here.

One last entrance to go.

Before entering into the shrine & temple. Its a must to Omairi(practices to be done)

If there is a hand washing basin provided, perform Temizu: take the dipper in your right hand and scoop up water. Pour some onto your left hand, then transfer the dipper to your left hand and pour some onto your right hand. Transfer the dipper to your right hand again, cup your left palm, and pour water into it, from which you will take the water into your mouth (never drink directly from the dipper), silently swish it around in your mouth (do not drink), then quietly spit it out into your cupped left hand (not into the reservoir). Then, holding the handle of the dipper in both hands, turn it vertically so that the remaining water washes over the handle. Then replace it where you found it.

Haaa~  Cute frogs near the side of the entrance.

Foxes (Kitsune) is consider as a messenger. Often found in Shrines.

Ringing the bell after i have depositing a donation

Spotted this 2 Japan lady who were wearing a kimono.
Actually i intended to rent it, but after much considerations. I didn't rent it in the end. (>_<)

The beginning of countless of torii (Shrine gates)

Fox Prayer Talismans at Fushimi Inari
You can actually draw any faces of your own which i think its creative.

Inari is a fox goddess of business and rice. The main shrine is at the base of Inari Mountain, and gates,
or torii, lead up the mountain to many smaller shrines.

The backview of my dad & mum
So sweet!!~

hahaa!~  The 2 japanese ladies that we saw earlier. Asked them for a pic together & they agreed.
^^
