Ddukbokki (hot and spicy rice cake)

Parents are out to malaysia for a holiday, left me & my brother at home.
So we cooked spicy rice cake as our breakfast today.


Recipe for Authentic Ddukbokki enclosed; 


Ingredients for hot & spicy ddukbokki needed;
Soy Sauce, Sugar, Onion, Ikan bilis cube, Tube shaped rice cake,
 Gochujang (Hot pepper paste), and Cabbage & Lastly Minced Garlic

Directions: 
1. Boil a pan of water and add half of the Ikan Bilis cube.

Add in 1 spoon of garlic.

I missed out this. Fish cake (Optional)

Add Fish cake to boil for around 5 minutes and take it out.


Leave it to boil under small heat while you prepared your Cabbage & Onion. (Optional)

Onion

1 big spoon of Gochujang (Hot pepper paste) 
Depends how spicy you wants it to be.

Stir it constantly when you have added in the Gochujang (Hot pepper paste)

Next, add a teaspoon of sugar and stir constantly.

You can add your rice cake in now. Servings is up to you.

Let it boil till it gets soften and shiny. haha!

Lastly, add in your Onion and Cabbage. 

Keep stirring it until the sauce is thick and its ready to serve.
